If you have been to a “Dare” show within the last 3 to 6 months, you may have noticed that: 1. We bring the rock wherever and whenever we can, and 2. A couple of the songs we play are not on “Duped”. The best explanation is that we are always writing music faster than we can make adequate recordings of it. I am proud to announce that we will be heading into a studio and putting 3 songs into the archives of rock history (we’re ambitious). Or so we hope to do that. But at least we will be recording some songs. We’ll keep you updated with everything that is going on.
The new year brings new passion in all of us. We will be pushing new music, and older music, as well as playing in places we were not able to go to this past year. 2011 was in my opinion, a successful year for us. We took many small steps in the right direction. As this new band, we have gained a lot on good experience playing live. We are thankful to have such a strong and extended ”dare family” (yes anything we do has the prefix ‘Dare’…’darefood’, ‘dareshoes’, ‘darenap’…etc.) keeping us focused, secure and supported. Just like good briefs.
And to all of you reading this and caring about us, thank you!

Side Note: I just saw “Casino Royale” making me 6 years behind with movies. It was good. I can’t wait until I see “The Departed”.
